Tony E. Adams
Dr. Tony Adams is Caterpillar Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication at Bradley University. His research focuses on sexuality, queer identity, and interpersonal and familial communication. He is also dedicated to strengthening the international and interdisciplinary community of autoethnography—a method that blends personal storytelling with ethnographic practice. Across his work is a deep commitment to recognizing injustice, questioning harmful norms, and fostering meaningful relations.

Gerardo Moreno
Dr. Gerardo Moreno is a Professor in the Programs in Special Education at Northeastern Illinois University, where he has served since 2008. As Director of the William Itkin Children’s Center for Children with Disabilities, he leads clinical training and community-based initiatives supporting children with diverse learning needs.
His research focuses on educational assessment, positive behavioral supports, and humanistic-centered practices in schools. Through his teaching, scholarship, and leadership, Dr. Moreno advances inclusive, strengths-based approaches that connect theory, research, and practice in the preparation of future special educators.
